You studied pinyin, but you’re still afraid to speak. You finally try, and someone asks “are you speaking Chinese?” You can’t hear the difference between qīng jiāo and qíng jiǎo, and you keep saying xiè xie like “she-she” without knowing why. This course exists for exactly that stage: not learning pinyin from zero, but fixing the pronunciation habits that basic pinyin study leaves behind.

- Extra attention on j/q/x, one of the hardest sound groups for foreign learners, with self-check techniques
- Covers hidden pronunciation and tone-change rules that most pinyin courses skip, including third-tone changes, the tone rules for 不 (bù) and 一 (yī), and erhua
