Questions, answered

Do I need to buy any special materials?

No. Every game runs on plain word cards. One lesson shows you how to make a full card set yourself in about five minutes.

Which age group do the games work for?

They were designed for children and young learners but work with adult beginners too. Each lesson includes variations to make a game easier or harder.

Can I use the games to teach a language other than Chinese?

Yes. The rules are independent of the language. Replace the cards with your own vocabulary and the games work for English, Spanish or any subject with facts to memorise.

How many games are there really?

Nine core activities, each with one or more variant rules, for 20 different ways to play in total.

Is this a course for learning Chinese myself?

No. It is a teaching-methods course for teachers and parents. It assumes you already speak Chinese well enough to run a lesson.

How do I access the course?
